ATTENTION TROOPERS
It is my solem duty to inform you, that while we, the Defenders of Freedom in the Galaxy, have sweated and bled in service for our Beloved Republic, in our midst there was seething the odious spectre of Treason!
While our Glorious Leader, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, has warned us on numerous occasions to beware Seperatist Treachery, even he was shocked when the Truth came knocking at the door of his inner chamber. A group of vile assassins, seizing their opportunity, attempted to USURP his position and take away all of our hard-fought freedoms even while the Seperatists were being soundly defeated all over the galaxy. The enemies of peace would not let us rest even for a moment!
The ORDER OF JEDI KNIGHTS, who once fought alongside our brothers in the WAR OF GALACTIC UNIFICATION have become the enemy!
Let these words sink in, as it is the duty of all patriotic citizens and public servants and we, the Defenders of Freedom to uphold them with our blood. EVERY SINGLE JEDI IS NOW AN ENEMY OF THE REPUBLIC!
This attack left our Great Leader scarred and deformed, but his resolve "has never been stronger." Anakin Skywalker, who has selflessly exposed the treachery of his bretheren by refusing to take part in their rebellion, helped rally our troops in a valiant surgical strike against the traitor's stronghold. Casting off the besmudged name of the Jedi, he demonstrated his loyalty to his government by setting his sights on the traitors' destruction. Even as the turncoats were plotting evil and chaos against our citizens, as they undoubtably have for countless generations under our very noses (in our very capital!), the Boots of Justice tramped up the steps of that Temple of Hypocrisy. The Usurpers viciously attacked our soldiers and slaughtered many of them. But our troops bravely fought on, and eventually subdued their foe. The corrupted Jedi met the fate they deserved for betraying the Republic and all that we hold dear.
Yet much as we would like to celebrate the Decisive Victory against the Seperatists and the Jedi, we cannot rest. The cause of Freedom, Justice, and Peace can only be pursued by wiping out all those who would see our destruction. Two Jedi Knights escaped the battle at the Jedi Temple, and are still at large. Disgraced Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda are fugitives from justice, and shall be apprehended by any means necessary. These traitors have the blood of Republic soldiers and citizens on their hands, and must be stopped. They shall be brought in dead or alive!
There are alarming reports of traitors amongst the Senate, who plotted with the Jedi to overthrow our Beloved Leader. These Senators have been traced to the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk. Holo-video records Disgraced Master Yoda assasinating a pair of officers under his command, then being helped to escape by Wookiee leaders. Clearly this corruption goes to the very heart of the Wookiee community, and is not limited to just a few individuals. These Rebels must be made an example of. They will be rounded up and punished for their crimes. Those that flee will not escape the Hands of Galactic Justice. They will be hunted down. In the days to come I fear that many of you will lose your lives. But the price you pay in blood will not be for nothing! This Republic has lasted a Thousand Years, and for it to continue for another thousand it must change and adapt, for our enemies are clever and resourceful. But they do not have the heart that we do, and the resolve that we do. Throughout this crisis our forces have conducted themselves with courage, honor, and fidelity. Your loyalty and noble sacrifice shall not be forgotten or go unrewarded. The Republic will be re-organized into the FIRST GALACTIC EMPIRE, for a safe and secure society, as our Wise Leader has decreed.
